As we move into the Year of the Ox, I would like to wish everyone a very happy Chinese New Year, good health and good fortune.
當我們迎接牛年的到來，我衷心的祝福每一位朋友新年快樂，身體健康，發大財。
The Ox is known for being strong, hard-working, reliable, and confident. The Ox is also calm, patient, methodical and is known for it’s diligence, dependability, and determination.. I do hope the holiday will give you time with family, friends and loved ones, whether in person for your immediate family or virtually with extended family, love ones and friends.
牛代表了強壯的,努力工作的，可信賴的忠實的，牛也代表了平和的，耐心地,有方法地，勤勞的，可信賴的及有決心的。我希望這個佳節大家能和家人愛人跟朋友們以實體或是網路的方式相聚。

IMPORTANT: Event Date Change

Dear friends and families of MFCS,

年廿八洗邋遢!除舊好迎新.

Have you started your clean-up for Chinese New Year? Do you have a plan for your gently used clothes so they don’t end up as waste? Please consider donating them to our Chinese school!

On Feb-20 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm the school will host a clothing drive fundraiser .

Simply put any of the below items in garbage bags, preferably of size 13-gallon.

Email or text* the PA the number of bags so we can let the driver of the delivery truck know.

Drive to our collection point and open your back trunk.

Our volunteers will offload the bags for you and you are all set. Isn’t that easy. It is also a great way to be friendly to our planet and to donate to our school?

• Shoes
• Small toys: hard and soft
• Accessories (belts, handbags)
• Bed sheets, curtains, towels and other soft household items.

Monmouth County Library Announcement
好消息！好消息！孟莫斯郡图书馆最近订购了一大批的电子中文书籍与杂志。你需要有一张还没到期的图书馆证号码，下载 LIBBY app. 进去LIBBY以后，在 search 点选Advanced，在Language的地方点选Chinese，点选 search。。。之后，你就会找到各色各样的中文杂志跟书。

里面的中文杂志有102种，包括商业周刊、天下杂志、远见杂志、读者文摘、常春健康杂志、国家地理杂志中文版、空中英语教室、Bella侬侬杂志、健康灵芝、常春藤生活英语、一手车讯、今周刊、旅读中国、悦游、Capital 资本杂志、先探投资周刊、常春藤解析英语、故宫出版出版品电子书丛书、婴儿与母亲、未来family、大美人、Vogue台湾、料理台湾、CNN互动英语、证券市场周刊、专案经理杂志、彭蒙惠英语、时尚家居、音响论坛等等。

请大家尽量借，如果今年杂志或书籍的借出率够高，明年图书馆就会继续订，华人就有福了。

如果不想进去图书馆里办理图书证可以在早上9-1 door side pickup 时，给他们看你的驾照，他们确认以后，他們就會幫妳renew 三年，給妳卡號。妳可以在你的手機裡下載 Monmouth county library app and set up a digital library card.

TECO Registration will begin Feb-2 for the 2021 English Service Camp
重要通知: 2021年英語服務營2/1開始報名

2021年英語服務營定於7月5日至7月23日辦理，採「海外志工遠距較學」搭配國內志工實體教學方式辦理，海外志工毋須入境台灣，惟須配合以下活動內容:
(一) 先期線上培訓: 6/25以前觀看20部教育訓練影片。
(二)配合國內志工共同備課: 6/28至7/2期間至少2次， 7/5至7/9期間至少3次；每次約1-2小時。
(三)配合國內志工進行同步遠距教學: 7/12至7/23；每次約1-2小時。
活動報名時間自2月1日起至3月31日止，活動簡章及報名表如附件。
繳交文件:
1.報名表，並黏貼最近6個月內拍攝的1.5吋半身照片1張。
2.經申請人（已成年）或其法定代理人（申請人未成年）簽章同意之個資蒐集、處理及利用告知事項之文件。
3.出生證明
4.僑居國護照影印本。
5.包含在校期間所有學期成績之正式成績單1份。

2021 Chinese SAT Mock Test
2021 年中文SAT模擬考

The 2021 Chinese SAT mock test will be held online on Sunday March-28-2021. The online registration date is from Feb-14-2021 to Feb-28-2021. Please refer to the attachment for the test summary. The National Council of Association of Chinese Language Schools will be holding an online seminar on January-24-2021 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. EDT for the Chinese SAT mock test. For the briefing session, all district directors, Chinese school principals, school representatives and parents are welcome to participate online. The registration link for the online briefing session of the Chinese SAT mock test is as follows:
