Dear Parent, Teachers, and Staff,

 With the recent headlines of the outbreak of the Coronavirus (2019-nCoV infection) in China, the Monmouth Fidelity Chinese School Board have been closely monitoring the outbreak and have been working with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Monmouth County Department of Health, and Marlboro Township Mayor’s office and local officials to determine if there are any impact to our school.   

Although no specific risk has been identified for our school, we have received feedback from many of our concerned families and staff regarding the Coronavirus and large gatherings.  After careful consideration, and out of an abundance of caution, it is with great regret that the Monmouth Fidelity Chinese School Board has decided to cancel our Chinese New Year celebration and luncheon that was scheduled for Saturday February 1st.    

The school is currently scheduled to reopen on Saturday February 8th.  The Board will continue working with the various government agencies and local officials to monitor any new development with the Coronavirus and plan accordingly.  

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and continued support.
