Mother’s Day Pre-celebration

The PA would like all the moms to get a chance to relax and refresh next Saturday, 5/13. We welcome every mom, a grandma or an expectant mom, to stop by the main cafeteria. Take your time to brew a cup of tea or coffee, have some refreshments, before you set out on your journey again.

Pricing:	$80 – Sedans $100 – SUVs
Time:	Typically takes ~2 hours per vehicle

『FASCA海外青年文化大使新生培訓』 2023年招生熱烈起跑 擁抱臺裔文化硬實力・「課」不容緩

2023年中華民國僑務委員會「海外青年文化大使(FASCA)新生培訓」將於北美及亞太地區共11個城市展開培訓活動，紐約場於2023年7月7日至7月9日在紐約台灣會館(137-44 Northern Blvd, Queens, NY 11354)辦理。紐澤西場於2023年7月10日至7月12日在Days Hotel(195 NJ-18, East Brunswick, NJ 08816)辦理，報名即日起正式開跑，名額有限，歡迎14至17歲的臺裔青少年踴躍報名參加。

為加強海外新生代對我國之連結及向心，並鼓勵海外僑民青年參與僑界活動，培養未來僑社中堅幹部及海外支持我政府之新能量，僑務委員會自2011年起陸續於北美各地成立海外青年文化大使協會(簡稱FASCA)，截至2022年計培訓僑界青年6,346人次，成功支援臺灣多項文化推廣及僑社服務，廣受各界好評是臺灣在海外推動僑務工作的一大助力。

本年新生培訓以「領導、服務、文化、傳承」為四大培訓主軸，分為三日訓練以及全年持續性培力活動。其三日訓練特聘請臺美兩地教授及專業講師共同組成巡迴講座，為臺裔青少年辦理既具挑戰又富具文化意義之課程與體驗活動。此外，完整結訓之學員亦具資格加入當地FASCA 組織、並參與特別設計之「培力計畫」，透過積極參與僑社活動之磨練與學習，期待培育出具有文化涵養與領導長才的臺裔青年。

三日新生培訓內容精彩可期，包括文化及移民尋根體驗課程，賦予傳統藝術新意象；另一方面，領導統御等規劃課程讓學員挑戰自我，成就自我領導與團隊價值，另外也透過族裔平等價值及生命教育課程，培養其宏觀思考能力。教學與實務並進，且師資陣容堅強，榮獲歷屆學員之高度認同，讓孩子在精進實力同時，亦拓展人際，締結更多相同背景的夥伴。

最重要的是，每位學員完成培訓結業後，即具有加入FASCA資格並成為各地區分會學員。分會學員將能參與更多元之線上課程，並不間斷的自我學習。此外，學員也能參與各地僑社多樣的僑社服務活動，讓青少年不間斷的自我學習。若學員服務累積超過100小時，將由相關單位協助申請「美國總統志工服務獎」，使其升學之路更具優勢。
