Mother’s Day Appreciation & Teachers Appreciation Week Events

The MFCS administration and staff are hosting our annual Mother’s Day appreciation party as well as, in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week, thanking our teachers for all of their hard work during the year.

Please join us at the MFCS cafeteria on Saturday, May 7th, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for these lovely events, where we will be serving snacks and refreshments. Students will get ice cream cake and be given a rose to present to their mothers.

May-7 – MFCS Speech Contest – The speech contest will be held in the auditorium for all in-person classes.  Parents are welcome to sit in the auditorium and support their child

  • 9:30 – 10:20 (grade 1,2,3)

  • 10:30am (start) for CSL, 4 and 5

Other than the weekly PA duties, we have more upcoming adult volunteer opportunities.

Important reminder: These are the last chances to earn PA duty hours. We encourage both parents to volunteer at the same time, a family can easily earn 12 duty hours in order to get the PA refund.  If you encounter difficulties to fulfill the last one or two hours of your 12-hr duty requirements, you may contact PA department at mfcspadir@gmail.com or the principal at principal@mfcsnj.org for arrangements asap.

Call for volunteers to march in and support the Marlboro Township Memorial Day Parade on Sunday May 22nd. 

Supporters needed to help represent MFCS in the parade march.  Please contact the Culture department for additional details at culture@mfcsnj.org

MFCS Mask Mandate Update

In accordance with New Jersey Governor Murphy’s announcement of the lifting of the Universal School Mask Mandate on March 7, MFCS continues to adjust measures based on the latest health guidance and best practices.  Beginning April-30 MFCS will lift on campus mask requirements making the wearing of masks (face coverings) while on campus optional.  Although the wearing of masks on campus is now optional, MFCS highly recommends that all individuals continue to wear their mask while on campus.  The individual decision to choose to continue to wear a mask is a personal one that may be based upon a number of factors. Those who wish to wear masks on campus are encouraged to do so.

Monmouth Community Christian Church – Free English as a Second Language Classes

MCCC welcomes you to join their free ESL classes which teaches grammar, speaking, listening, and writing skills.  MCCC classes are at a basic level, beginner level, and intermediate level. 

  • Basic Level (focusing on conversational English):  Wed. 7:30-8:30 PM

  • Basic Level:  Mon. 7:30-9:00 PM

  • Basic Level:  Wed. 9:30-11:00 AM

  • Beginner Level:  Tue. 9:30-11:00 AM

  • Intermediate Level:  Wed. 9:30-11:00 AM
